Double the gift & Back yard concert!
Dear Friends,
Our dream at TSF is that the gift of an academic scholarship to needy children at FCA will broaden their horizons and open doors; and improve the quality of life for their family. You can help make this a reality for students like Catherine, Meshack, & Happiness and many more. They joined FCA a few years ago and, already, their families are seeing a difference.

The Tanzanian Government announced that schools would reopen, and all classes are to resume on Monday 29 June. We enhanced each classroom with sinks and enhanced the hygiene and social distancing measures and follow all directives from the Tanzanian Ministry of Health. It’s been over two weeks and our staff is enjoying the sounds of students in the schoolyard all while keeping a safe distance!
We are looking forward to welcoming more students! Our grade one and kindergarten class currently have 12 children and we want to double it! We are working with families who have their children enrolled at another English Medium school…families who paid for their children’s education and due to COVID can no longer afford to. Many of these families are in the tourism sector. It is our hope that if we support their children’s education when times are tough, they will support us in good times! If we take in 25 new students, who transfer in from another tuition based school. It is our hopes that in 1.5 years, they will be paying students at FCA and thus making FCA sustainable! We then can focus on supporting FCA with enhancements, more classrooms, other nice to haves rather than having the high cost of supporting everything. WE are excited about the potential of FCA being sustainable…however we think it will take until 2022 for the sector to recover.
Double your impact!
Thanks to two generous supporters $10,000 in donations will be matched! Please help us meet our match by donating and helping us continue to educate the future leaders of Tanzania and their families!
Together we can do this!

I miss being in Tanzania too…I do not know when I will be back. I miss our staff, the children and their families. Although we are miles apart, I am doing my best to be there for them…the first few hours of every day are spent working with TSF Tanzania on a number of projects and ideas. We are together. Eric is on the ground in Tanzania implementing all of our ideas!. He is doing an awesome job!
I hope you can be part of the matching gifts and if in the Boston area, come to our backyard concert fundraiser.
Thanks for reading and following along on this journey!
Hugs
Christine
