So much to be grateful for in 2014

Seasons’ Greetings Friends!

I can’t believe that 2014 is coming to an end.
It has been an incredible year for us.

As a result of your continued support, The Tanzania School Foundation and The School of St. Nicholas have so much to be grateful for.
Our student population continues to grow; we now have two full classrooms in our rented space, our building project continues, and we are in negotiations to purchase an additional 2 acres of land!  I also had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful, kind, and generous people from all around the world.  I am humbled by their support and faith in me and our team.  Hundreds of new friends around the world heard about and joined the School of St. Nicholas and Tanzania School Foundation family.  It has been quite a year!

As we look forward to 2015, it will also be a year in which we will enjoy more reasons to be grateful. We will welcome new students in January; our ‘Volunteer in Tanzania’ program is revamped and we look forward to hosting many new friends and providing them with some of the best that Tanzania has to offer, and moving to our official school campus.  Another big year ahead!

Our students and staff are enjoying their summer holiday and spending time with their families.   We are winding down 2014 with our ornament sales in full swing and getting ready for the new school year.  We are delighted to let you know that this Christmas 15,000+ of our ornaments are hanging on trees around the world and 15 new students will be joining us at The School of St. Nick.   We couldn’t do it without your support.

Our 2014 year end newsletter will be here soon!
Highlights will include:

  • Meet our new kindergarten class
  • Our building progress
  • Meet our Tanzanian staff
  • Opportunities for short and long term volunteers
  • Our 2015 calendar of events – we are all over the world!
  • And much more!!

If you still are looking for a gift for that person who has everything,  please remember we are still seeking sponsors for our new students.  The gift of sponsorship will open up a world full of possibilities for a Tanzanian child.  It is a gift that keeps on giving, and an opportunity for a brighter future and a world full of possibilities.  If you would like to sponsor a student click here.

Thank you so much for being part of our organization and school.  We could not do anything with the support of our volunteers, student sponsors, donors, friends and family and every one I personally meet along the way.  Together we are creating opportunities and changing lives for these children.

My sincere holiday wishes to you wherever you are and for every holiday celebrated.
