Happy Holidays!

Dear Friends,
Happy Holidays! As we move into another New Year, we’re excited to update you on the impactful work your support continues to make possible in Tanzania. At the Tanzania School Foundation, we remain dedicated to our mission of educating and feeding children in underserved communities, ensuring that they have the resources they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

A Year of Progress: Educating Tomorrow’s Leaders

Education is the cornerstone of progress, and this year, we’ve been able to provide 25 children with access to a quality education. With your help, we’ve improved expanded learning materials, and trained local teachers, all of which contribute to fostering an environment where children can excel.

Highlights of Our Educational Efforts:

We supported 25 scholarships to children from ages 7-16!   Our scholarships go beyond paying for school fees, (which have more than doubled since we began 15 years ago.)  We pay for books, uniforms and for some students: bus or boarding fees.

Textbook Distribution:
Over 1,000 textbooks were distributed to schools, ensuring that students have access to the resources they need to succeed academically.

Feeding Minds and Bodies:

One of the greatest challenges for many children in Tanzania is access to a nutritious meal. Often, children arrive at school hungry and are unable to focus on their studies. Our School Meals Program aims to change this by providing daily meals that not only nourish the body but also fuel the mind.
Milestones in Our Meals Program:

Healthy Meals Served: We’ve served over 8,000 school lunches in 2025, providing students with the energy they need to stay focused and engaged in the classroom.

Partnership with Local Farmers: We’ve collaborated with local farmers to purchase fresh produce, ensuring that the meals are both healthy and also support the local agricultural sector.

Some of Our Students: Success Stories from the Ground
At the heart of our work are the students who are transforming their lives through education and nourishment. Here are just a few stories that highlight the incredible impact of your support:

Catherine, a 12-year-old student from Arusha, dreams of becoming a doctor. At the top class, Katherine is not only bright, she is committed to her school work.

Naeku, a 15-year-old Masai girl from Monduli is passionate about engineering. With a scholarship to grade 10 along with textbooks and school supplies, she’s been able to develop her skills and has a bright future ahead, thanks to your generous support.

Our students and staff in Tanzania have had a successful and busy year.

TSF in the USA had a busy 2025.  Over 150 volunteers  joined our efforts
at 35 events at Gillette Stadium to support our work in Tanzania.  This helped us raise over $27,000!  We couldn’t do it without our wonderful volunteers!

I had the privilege of spending six weeks in Tanzania in 2025.  Three weeks in March and three weeks in November.  I am reminded of the good work we are doing there and have developed wonderful relationships with most of the children we support.  I also work full time, but before I start each day in the Crypto world, I talk to my team in Tanzania.  If only I can be in two places.

Looking Ahead: What’s Next?

As we continue to grow and expand our reach, we are focused on the following priorities for the New Year:

Continuing Our Impact: We aim to provide thousands more meals to students in need and offering scholarships to all 25 of our students.

Strengthening  Local Partnerships: By working closely with local farmers, community leaders, and teachers, we hope to make our programs even more sustainable.

How You Can Help
Your continued support is crucial in ensuring that children in Tanzania have access to a better future. Here’s how you can help:
